Here are some pictures. Look how well I have healed :))

Here is the underside, its coming along nicely too:

And finally, the burn. This is the boost area that they shot at for 8 days. Its starting to "peak" I think. I hope. It hurts!

We're getting better at taking breast cancer treatment pictures so they don't look like boobs eh? Its a shame I even have to think this way. Carefully weighing my words, carefully cropping pictures...IT IS WHAT IT IS!!! BREAST CANCER!!! THIS IS THE CURE!!!

I too am undergoing radiation treatments and I hate it. I feel like I'm lied too, and guess what else, it's my husbands profession. I feel betrayed and lied to even more. I'm burned to a crisp and they told me the boost areas wouldn't burn. LIE again

Tammy, I want to tell you that it does get better. I had my last radiation treatment in January. The burns cleared up quickly once they stopped zapping me. I know it hurts like hell, nothing is worse than a radiation burn. Have you tried Rad-X? You can get it at Walmart, it is behind the pharmacy, you have to ask for it. It is cool and not sticky and feels great. (((hugs)))
